About

I am a social impact design strategist. I love collaborating with nonprofits and public entities to assist them in creating or reimagining their work with a focus on equity, efficiency, and community collaboration. Similar to how a financial consultant might help your organization maximize financial gains across all aspects of a business, my work helps you consider equity and the community you serve at every intersection of your work.

My work and design practice is a culmination of my past nonprofit professional experience, design education, and my foundational belief in community-led design. My design practice is a collaborative and intentional co-design process. I believe it is important to consider the critical historiography of each project and prioritize environmentally sustainable and long-term regenerative solutions. My facilitation and teaching practice centers social literacy and collaboration while illustrating the value of design as a tool for creative social impact and advancing equity. My design practice is not neutral. It is centered around human rights, empathy, and justice work. It is a constant practice of learning and unlearning, while also prioritizing joy and collective community care.

I accept new projects solo through my personal business or in partnership with my amazing team at Ignite Design Group, a design co-op I have co-founded with some incredible designers who have a variety of amazing skills and expertise. Please check out my services page to learn more about what services I offer and visit the Ignite Design Group website to learn more about our collaborative.
